NAD-UK Community Meet-Up 2026 Announced

Neuro Assistance Dogs UK (NAD-UK) is pleased to announce that our first NAD-UK Community Meet-Up will take place in October 2026 in Margate UK.

The event will bring together handlers, trainers, owner-trained assistance dog teams, and supporters from across the UK neurological assistance dog community for an informal and welcoming gathering focused on shared experience, training discussion, and community connection.

The meet-up will also provide an opportunity to discuss:

  • neurological assistance dog training,

  • epilepsy and medical-alert work,

  • owner-trained assistance dog development,

  • public-access experiences,

  • and the evolving future of independent assistance dog support in the UK.

As a specialist organisation working within the neurological and medical-alert field, NAD-UK recognises the importance of building supportive community spaces for handlers whose conditions and assistance needs are often less publicly understood.

Further details regarding will be announced in the coming months.

We are very much looking forward to bringing together members of the NAD-UK community for the first time in person.

More details coming soon.
